  • A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible. https://dona.org/what-is-a-doula/

    There are a multitude of studies that document women having higher positive birth outcomes, reducing their need for pain-relief medication, decrease risk for a cesarean birth, and just an overall positive birth experience. This, in turn, helps women enter their motherhood journey in an already empowered and positive mindset.

  • I bring a steady, grounding and uplifting presence during times of anxiousness or uncertainty - helping to keep you cool, calm, collected and focused as you work to bring life into this world. I will provide you with physical support (counter-pressure/massage, positioning/movement, breathwork, nourishment) and emotional support (affirmations, prayer, fear management, partner/support person reassurance) during the labor and delivery process. After birth I will not leave your side until you feel safe, comfortable and settled with 1-2 visits during your first month postpartum!

    • Consultation/interview

    • 2-3 prenatal visits

    • Being “on-call” from 37 weeks until the birth of your baby

    • Birth support for you and your partner during labor, wherever you choose to be (home, hospital, birth center)

    • Support 1-2 hours after birth

    • 1-2 postpartum visits within the first 4 weeks

    • Photography add-on

  • I will work with in 35/40 mile radius around Camp Hill, PA. This radius includes most if not all Central PA counties (as listed at the bottom of the website).
